Supported by ACE via their Strategic Touring Fund, SpareParts is an arts programme that uniquely wraps around five major 1-day transport, heritage and place-making festivals. With audiences in excess of 100,000, SpareParts collaborates with partners to co-produce the events, including volunteer-led transport festival committees and local authorities across the North West.
SpareParts brings dynamic, diverse and surprising programmes of work to new audiences, whilst supporting and developing transport and heritage festivals to develop family attendees. In this sense, it is a great model for partnership working and a platform where we create outstanding opportunities for different interest groups to come together and be inspired.
SpareParts will return in 2021 with programmes in Sandbach, Oldham, Crewe, Fleetwood and Rochdale.
