Simulated Patients Train-the-Trainer: Consultant/Trainer
In 2014 I joined an International project team of Health Professionals as the lead Arts Specialist, to develop a ‘Train-The-Simulated Patient’ (2TSP) programme.
Embedding performing arts methodology to enhance the quality of the healthcare learning environment for existing and future workforces, I developed the PrOPS Process, a new framework for people undertaking role-play in non-arts settings.
This package has since been rolled-out across NHS England and remains an integral part of the training for simulated patients. I continue to work with the simulation team at Manchester Metropolitan University to deliver training in healthcare settings across the country.
